Blackberry Ice Cream Strawberry Sauce The Best Crispy Waffle Ice Cream Bowl Ever. I Think I Am In Love. * * * I have just been informed by Yelp Management That Blackberry is only a short term flavor on Smitten Ice Cream's Menu. They usually serve other flavors. * * * Okay, okay. It was one night stand. Maybe if I went back I could find love again?

I came on a Monday afternoon. There was a small line but I was served my ice cream quickly after ordering. I got the brown butter ice cream with cookie dough and pretzel. It was so legit. I also got a pint of the salted caramel because I was one cider in and Decided it was a good idea. I haven't tried it yet but i'm looking forward to it. I got a waffle cone. $6 single scoop. $2 waffle cone. Bigger servings at Mitchell's for slightly less. still delicious!

Very interesting that they make their ice cream on the spot! I wish they had more flavours and also just more unique flavours and the ability to sample, but overall, I really like the flavour I chose (blood orange pomegranate).

Smitten is known for their liquid nitrogen ice cream which is always a nice treat! We stopped by this Valencia location on our way to Dolores Park and grabbed 2 scoops to share. I always love the Blood Orange Pomegranate and the Chocolate Ganache is great as well made with 61% dark chocolate so it's not too sweet!

The ice cream Competition is high in this area, some of the best ice cream in the city, that being said, this place is decent. It's one of the few ice cream spots that use liquid nitrogen to make the ice cream right in front of you, and you can clearly taste and feel the difference in the texture of it. I think the flavors are a bit lacking but maybe that's by design to avoid distractions from the texture. It's definitely worth trying, and staff is pretty nice and service is quick.

Walked by this establishment craving ice cream. They have a beautiful story and have been in SF for a while. Unfortunately my experience was not up to par with expectations. Their prices are extremely heft for what they offer. I did not think their ice cream was fresh or flavorful. I got one of their chocolate ice cream flavors. My experience could be a one off though my friends felt the same about their ice cream as well. I would love to give this place another try next time am in the area

Yum yum yum! I came on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. I had never been here before so I didn't know what to expect. It's really cool on the inside with all of the machinery and decor. The music is fun too. I tried the roasted banana ice cream in a cone. It was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best scoops of ice cream I have ever had. The flavor was decadent and the texture was the perfect creaminess and firmness. The cone was good too and tasted kind of like a cookie.

Stopped by for a quick treat... super yummy! Got the flight with the earl grey, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and cookie dough. I found the pumpkin spice slightly too sweet for me, but would definitely give it a try if you're a fan of pumpkin spice! As a tea lover, I really enjoyed the earl grey with chocolate chips. It had a great strong tea flavor. I also really enjoyed the cookie dough-- the pretzels added a great texture and salt! Overall, all of the ice creams were rich & smooth... so delicious! They have both inside and outdoor seating.

The ice cream is churned by a machine after scoops are ordered which is very interesting. I got Cookie Dough w/ Pretzels & Chocolate Chips. Tasty flavor with sweet cream base and complimentary salted cookie dough and pretzels. It's super creamy, however I think because of the churning it makes the scoop melt faster It seems when there is a line there are no samples available. The interior has some seating but it's fairly crowded for a Friday night
